Now your piracy box can have highly detailed per-channel gamma implemented at the 10-bit DAC level instead of post-processing on already 8-bit-per-channel rendered frames. AWESOME!

FFDshow doesn't really have an equivalent and even then would only post-process the 8bit framebuffer data, so you'd get sub-8-bit quality and potential banding. Yaay!

Ffdshow has Levels and within that a curve. But it doesn't allow manipulation of each color.

This could be added. I don't know if it would achieve the same result or if it's as good a point to manipulate the gamma curve.
