Can the faroudja 5000 do 72 Hz refresh rate?

THe set up is:

PS3 at 1080p24 fps - hdfury - Faroudja 50001080p 72fps? - CRT

the only VP I know that can do 1080p@72 is the TV-one C2-2xxx series of Processors.

Can Farouja do 1080P 48Hz? I was told it can't, but I suspect this.

No they don't, the lumagen only can do up to 60hz at 1080p, and I think the VP50 can do something less like 1050p@72z and I am not sure of the vertical line number but with reduced timings... that can cause issues with certain PJ's.

But for scope BD movies 800p@ 72 works just fine for both.

*All* those processors will support 72Hz (I've owned each one at one time or another).

What they won't do is run 1080p72 through the DVI/HDMI ports - you're limited to RGB output for 1080p72.

I should have clarified through the Digital outs it wont do 1080p@72, where as the Tv-one C2-2000A series will.
