Please contact me about the ongoing Barco 1100 mess. I hate to post this here but you haven't replied to any of my emails since March when you said you were going to run test it for 24 hours before shipping it. I bought a Moome external and HD-DVD player in anticipation of having a working CRT projector. Now the HD-DVD is just a new in the box doorstop...

Thanks,
Dave

Check your spam filter Dave, I have responded to every email except for anything that you might have sent since Thursday as my computer crashed. I should have that back tomorrow and by Weds I can access all old emails and I'll respond again.

Cheers!

I have been checking my spam filter and you're email addy is still on my exclusion list so its not supposed to get flagged by the spam filter anyways. Also, everyone of your autoresponse emails comes through minutes after I email you so your address isn't blocked anywhere. So, whats the story with the 1100? I was hoping to have that months ago.....

Dave

It's here, I'll put it on the bench today. One tube shorted out, and I finally got another one, so let me run it. What lenses are on the 1100 that you have? TAC or HD-XX?

Thanks!

I was wondering why you hadn't responded to my email. I was getting a little concerned as to the whereabouts of my G90 YA board since it was showing delivered (following several 'attempted deliveries') on June 13th but I hadn't received a confirmation that you got it.

YEs, I now have it. I got it on Friday for some reason only. Now I'm waiting for the bad power supply to come back from a customer so I can test it.

My autoreply should let you know that I lost some of my emails that came in on Friday, and since the virus was floating around in my computer since Tuesday, it's possible that some other ones got eaten as well..

Cheers!

Hey Curt,
I've tried to email you again and have gotten your auto-response message but it seems you are still not getting my emails for some reason. I want to discuss with you about finding a resolution to this 1100 mess and this open forum really isn't the place to do it. Please try emailing me at dave@braveknight.com
Thanks,
Dave

I owe Dave a Barco 1100. Between being out of town, and desperately trying to catch up, it's been slow going for his set. It's sitting in a corner here, digging it out now...

I'm curious, why do you want a Barco 1100? ES focus, 1024x 768? Why not get something a little nicer?

CURT -

I've been waiting FOREVER for you to send back my hydropositronic electronumulator with the fripitz mods. This is creating numerous problems for me. The kids won't speak to me, my wife ran off with the postman, and the dog ate my favorite shoes. Damn - you just can't get good service anymore. On second thought, to heck with it - I'll just go buy a new one at Circuit City.

I do want something better. I bought this 1100 from Curt a while back and it arrived damaged and never worked properly despite most everything being swapped numerous times, At first Curt was going to work out a deal with me for a 1200 instead of another 1100 but he said the 1200 he had also was unrepairable. So now hes offered to send me a replacement 1100 for shipping costs but it hasn't happened yet.

As its taking so long to get this settled and it seems this current 1100 isn't going well either I'd really rather upgrade to something better like our previous "almost" deal on the 1200 you had. I'm really not interested in another 1100 after this length of time of not having anything at all to watch. I don't even own a TV. Several months ago I bought a Moome external and a HD-DVD player in anticipation of having a working projector. The HD-DVD player is now an unused expensive door stop. This has dragged on now for literally years now. Lets please either work out an upgrade deal with something you can actually ship me or lets work out a cash settlement.
I didn't want to bring this up in a forum but you seem to never acknowledge my emals even though I get your auto responses every time I email you.

Thanks,
Dave

I am still waiting for the BA board as promised. This may be small fry in the scheme of things, but having a non working projector is big fry to me. Could you please advise me if this has been posted?.
