I've been using moome cards for a long time and have always been very happy.

This past week I built a new computer and am pulling my hair out trying to get it to work consistently with the monitor on my desk as the primary display and my G90/Moome as the secondary.

My hunch is that it really is something flakey with the display detection in the new video card, but it also seems like it might be an EDID issue.

The computer does work with the projector, if I connect only the DVI/HDMI cable from the PC to the Moome card it fires up and works every time.

The problem is when I have both the monitor and projector connected. In that case, the monitor always comes up - and sometimes the projector does (but not very often). And when it does, there is something freaky where it sets the maximum resolution of the desktop monitor down to something odd like 1680x1050.

So the question I have for you guys is what do you have the computer use as the driver for the 'monitor' with your Moome IFB card?

When I get it to work by connecting only the projector, the display properties tell me it thinks its an NEC Multisync Monitor (how insulting!). I dont think thats really the problem, but I'm wondering if switching to the generic display device - or installing a specific driver that more accurately reflects the moome card might help.

Thanks!
