I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out my "new" Barco 1200. I bought it from a guy about 6 months ago and it worked great when he showed it to me. I got it home and finally got around to setting it up, but I can't seem to get the remote to respond consistently.

Occasionally, some random button will get it out of standby and I can see the boot up(?) screen, but from here the keys rarely have any effect. Every now and then I can get an error message by pressing a button, but it never seems to happen the same way twice. At one time, I got the address of 000 to display momentarily on the screen. I tried addressing the remote to 0, but that doesn't seem to work. The best result I can get is when I address the remote to 4, then I can get it in and out of standby consistently by hitting the enter key. This is all with the wireless remote. The wired remote doesn't seem to do anything. Most commands with either result in the "error" and "RCU" leds flashing on the controller.

I've looked at the troubleshooting section, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't just missing something simple before I tear into this thing. Any suggestions?
