Just thought I would start a place here for anyone using this fairly new player with a CRT projector. I just picked it up yesterday at a local Wal-Mart for a sub PS3 pricetag so was pretty happy with that. I'm hoping that 1080i through this player will look nice on my XG. This is my first Blu-Ray player so I don't have anything to compare it to really. My dad has a Panasonic player, the DMP-BD30k and I have tested it a bit but it's been months since I used it. I will probably borrow his for a few days and try to do some comparisons.

Didn't know anything about a multi-region hack but then again, I have never tried anything but locally sourced movies through this or any other player I own. I'm up to a total of 4 Blu Ray movies now so I'm kind of limited as to what I can play right now. So far I'm loving the player and it hasn't missed a beat at all. Looks awesome.
