Hi,
I would like to buy a used Dwin HD500.
I'm living in germany, so I need a power Input of 230V 50Hz.
The specification's on curt's side are: 100-130/200-250VAC 50/60Hz
Does anyboda know what I have to do if I want to use the HD500 here in germany.
regards
Markus

Hello,
is there really nobody who is familiar with the Dwin's?
Perhaps I have to go in more detail.
The specification's from Dwin say: 100-130/200-250VAC 50/60Hz
Does this mean
1) It's a universal powersupply inside and I can plug in the Dwin 500 in the 230V/50Hz outlet without modifications
2) There is a switch somewhere inside where I can choose either 110V/60Hz or 230V/50Hz.
After changing to 230V I have to replace the fuse
3) Dwin made to different powersupplies one for 110V/60Hz and one for 230V/50.
So I have to replace the powersupply or user an external transformer with the 110V powersupply.
I have used a Sony D50 for around 10 years. In january I moved to a JVC RS1. Main reason for moving to the JVC was the fannoise of the sony.
After living with the JVC now for around 6 moths I'm not totally happy with it.
That's the reason I would like to move back to a silent CRT.
The Dwins have never been sold in germany.
So please help me
regards
Markus
