I have 1080i60hz going into the HDP from HD/BD players but is it best to output 1080i60hz or 720p60hz from the HDP to my Seleco SVD800 Millennium crt projector which can accept both 1080i and 720p.I'm using an HD Fury via the RGBHV BNC input on the 800.

Well, the best way is to try both and decide from that. You could also try changing the refresh rate to 72 - 75 probably would be best in the UK - and see if there is any advantage to that.

I don't think you understand the resolution refresh rate stuff. Smile Your Seleco can accept and display a much wider variety of resoluitons/refresh rates thatn 1080i/60 and 720p/60. Also, you Lumagen allows a variety of custom resolutions. For HD movies, 1080i/72 will look pretty good. The Seleco is a lower end machine with only ES focus, so the downside of 1080i is that it will really struggle with the horizontal resolution of 1920--looking kind of soft. You could use the Lumagen do do a resolution of something like 1400x1080i/72 which will look pretty nice and you might get looking kind of sharp.

Ok tried horizontal resolution of 1400 and the picture has moved a 3rd over to the right of the screen wich i can't get full back over and also it seems to have narrowed the whole image Confused Any ideas?
