Is the cable to connect the remote (RM-PJ1000/1001) to the g70 panel a regular stereo cable or is it special? I looked in the book and it says supplied, but no part number or description? I have the pj on the floor temp and sit behind it so the remote wont function from the back, thanks.

Does the remote function from the front? If it does you may only need to enable the rear IR sensor, I think you can do this through the service menu.
I'm not sure what cable you'll need.

The remote works, there is only 1 sensor, on the front.

The cord I used was a standard headphone extension cord with male plugs on both ends

Its just 2, 1/8 inch stereo plugs on a length of cable. And unless someone physically removed one of your G70's ir receivers, there are two. One in front, one in back and they need to be turned on in the service menu like Zebu said. Good luck

Right next to the power on off indicator and the error window. I think they call it out as CIRCS control or something front, rear or both if I remember correctly
