I'm still looking for a pair of 24" Sony monitors too.
I've had a few flat screens attached to lap tops mostly they never ever come close. I had a good look a couple of years back when my father needed a monitor. Nothing could touch the CRT quality. He of course was looking at the case.
Hey Marc, was that 29" Barco Mega Calibrator the one they use in medical imaging, or one of the one's they use for film production? |
The one's from film production. Built in color probe. Jawdropping image, but bulky. I gave both to a friend of mine. I just didn't have the room for them anymore.

Lying on the couch while posting? How ... <insert common politically incorrect remark that crosses the line of sensitivity>.
I'm in the computer room sitting in an office chair I paid $186 for, which was clearance from $499 that I only to late learned was a $900 chair. Had I known this at that time I'd have bought a couple more of them. Fantastic chair and I've had it a decade now. Surprising my 235 pound form hasn't killed it yet.

That's funny. I bought my first G520P from Doug at Canada monitors. Great guy to deal with but he's mostly moved on to LCD and referbed Dell systems. He does have some 22" NEC but they are blurry as compared to the Sony's. |
I haven't looked at Doug's website in over a year since I got the F520.I just looked at it now & realized that he has almost no crt's left anymore.Next time I'll check the site before I recommend it too someone else.

Too bad, I thought I had just found a new toy for myself. Got a line on any more?
