Of the CRTs I'm selling now to the HT market, quite a number of them are to former CRT people that went digital two or three times, got rightly pissed off at the bulb/projector life, and are BAAAACK! |
I do not think anyone is arguing the benefits of CRT--especially me. I am arguing that to maintain those benefits AND acquire the ability to conduct 1920x1080P with CRT then it is going to be expensive compared to current 1920x1080P digital solution (projected or otherwise). Its only when you shy away from the strengths of CRT and go looking for the low-end CRTs that can barely do 1920x1080P that you can become price competitive.
