Any knowledge you'd need to know could be told by the guy at AVS thatt has one set up in his theater, instead of killing one just to see what males it tick.. He has pictures also the last I knew.

These would be awesome for anyone interested in a HUGE screen setup. If they weren't in California, I'd do my best to try to snag them:( I have a friend that owns a sports bar and one of these, especially with a spare, would be perfect... Problem is I know he wont pay to ship 800 pounds worth of machines all the way across the country.

What you're not up for a road trip? Wink

It's not the road trip, It's where do I put it? Too big to get upstairs onto my HT. Besides, my house is made of wood.... old, dry wood that might burst into flames the first time I fire it up... I suppose I could put it on a big cart at work and wheel it out to the parking lot when we want to use it.

Actually the road trip commnet was directed to Sonynut.

Where to put it is always a problem it would seem.

What people forget is that it's not too bright - just bright enough so you could use black velvet as the screen and still have enough brightness! Voila - perfect contrast, even in full room lighting!

Or you could just use it right and build a 60' screen in your backyard

From rabies' ad:

Functionality: UNTESTED. We do not have the correct equipment or knowledge to test this item. We do not know the history of this item and we cannot guarantee that it is complete, without defect or fit for use. Projector is untested.
Translation: We haven't plugged it in. It uses 240 volts and we're scared as sh*t of that. Very Happy

Wow, you know something's a limited-production item when the serial number is hand-written on the label. S/N 1297. I bet they started at 1000.
