Hey Perisoft,
I appreciated the graphs you put up. It makes sense and seems like an effective method to remove the effects of the wear on colour.
As Ecrabb points out, turning up gain too much can lose focus on that tube, however as you pointed out, maybe a little a bit of increase on the worn tube and a little bit of decrease on the other two tubes should make for a fair balanced result.
I 'spose if the green is worn, the tint is already green. And if the red is worn, go with a red gel.
