Hello,

does anyone know if it's possible to replace a 07MP CRT with a 07MSP basicaly ?

and more precisely will it be possible for a sony 1271 to run properly with 2 07MP (G and R) and 1 07MSP (B) alltogether ? or will cause troubles as impossible G2 proper setup etc...

thanks to anyone that have some informations

JP

Yes, you can do that no problem. The focus voltage is slightly different, but that will be adjusted by the focus controls.

I've done the opposite - put 07mp's into a newer 1252 (originally 07msp's) and it worked perfectly. I had a focus issue, but it was only on one tube, so I assume it was just the tube (they were used). Other than that, it worked perfectly.

Those 07MSP have been dedicated to Sony as well as Barco, so as other tubes I guess they were mounted with specific HT lead for Barco or Sony...

how can I recognise a Sony from a Barco HT lead..?
