Most likely, no. The VSTAR5 one is a barco but I believe a video only, plus if really out of a plane, too much hassle.

Whatcha starting there, a museum of old CRT projectors?
The E''home is an ECP 2000. I have three here you can have, the power supplies are toast.
Teh BArco is a video only set as mentioned, the best of the batch is the GE.

That ECP is one really cool CRT machine.
I don't care if the image looks like complete crap compared to what most of us have I still want one.

I still think it looks like it belongs on the bridge of the Death Star, or the Enterprise!

Partial mirrors or a prism?

Let me be the first to pipe up with this.
Couldn't you strip that unit, apply the prisim to a differnt CRT projector and then add an anamorphic lens to the front of it?
C.I.H. anyone?

It's not a solid prism. It's a bunch of partial mirrors, each with a different color coating. I suppose this allows only the proper color to pass through each mirror before being bounced out the lens. The tubes are the same as the sony 10XX series.
It's one weird projector.

Check patent 4151554 for A version of this config. Don't know if Electrohome used this exact type but has to be similar.

That electrohome is really cool. And it should do at least line doubling.

They are actually pretty light . I never though that the sight of an old 2000 would bring that much interest
I actually Have one that came with an interesting ceiling mount from a university about four years ago.
I have always wanted to play with it for years and see what it does, but have never had the time or the ten pin connector that it needs I finally got curious enough to finally find a connector a couple of weeks ago and it should be here for me to play with next week . The setup screen actually looks brighter than the 4100 ecp gaming machines I have .
