OK, Im still fairly new to AVS and Raster - Now I read more of what he has written then I can understand why people dont like him.
He had never been rude directly to me, just poked fun at the things I asked.
Darin on the other hand used to be directly rude to people, that seems to have gone these days.
The mod - well hes the "man" (read boy in a mans world) with the gun - so I say nothing.......to be honest hes doing what hes told, some stupid things but what do I know......

Kal, I was so happy I was not on the list! 
The last "bad thing" I did was pestering Clarence for his overpriced 6pg, and telling him to post picture of tubes. I did it in polite, rational and fair way. Unfortunatelly Clarences reactions were not this kind. I think that Clarence is not so nice man as a lot of you think. There is "dark hidden" side of Clarence.
By behaving always nice, as Kal told me to, it is not possible to reveal the truth. Now i know Clarence cannot be my friend...

I simply HAVE to be annoying:
I REALLY dont understand why erikjohn has Curt as his avatar. The only thing (actually one of two things, the other thing was schmit from germany posting extremely rude post about me) i ever reported on AVS was somebody who chose animation of that little dog with huge eyes f*cking sack of burritos, which i just found disturbing. Was it you erikjohn? If yes I think it is probably something wrong with you...

I've always hoped that your rude tone was in part due to a language barrier. I'm assuming English is not your primary language, and I'll give you credit... your English is much better than our Czech. In fact, your English is probably better than some American posters.
But I got tired of your antics back when you kept posting about insisting that someone send you a projector without payment. And you also wanted the person to pick up the tab for overseas freight. Those posts were bad enough, but the constant PMs got tiresome.
And then when you had thread after thread insisting that everyone post close-up screenshots of your test pattern. Within hours, you called every one "lazy" for not posting a screen shot. And then you criticized Cliff's screenshots when he tried to oblige you. All of those harsh criticisms from you were coming from someone that doesn't have a projector and has never posted a screenshot.
As if those threads weren't bad enough, I also had to endure several PMs where you "told" me to post screenshots in accordance with your orders.
"Telling" some one to do something is much different that "asking" someone to do something. And it obviously didn't help to immediately call everyone "lazy" for not doing what you "told" them to do.
Then when you "told" me to post pictures of the NEC's tubes, I pointed out that the ad clearly states that there is visible wear consistent with the number of hours, and I explained in the ad that the effect of the wear is visible on the screenshots I posted. I also clearly stated that the projector was offered for local sale only, so that any potential buyer could assess the wear and resulting image firsthand. Yet, you repeatedly posted that the projector was above your budget. Then look elsewhere.

I started to call people lazy DAYS after I begun that thread. I really do not know any other fine and polite ways to tell someone he is lazy. lazy is the only word i know. If you studied my post carefully you would find I use just few hundred words. If I was criticizing anyone it was because I wanted them to post screenshots so that they were comparable, in same resolution.

You forgot to mention you deleted your ad several times to get rid of my questions. You did not face them You just deleted them. Frankly I think you caused Stepan to be deleted from AVS.

Curt, why start a new forum? The antiques forum is interested in creating some new sub-forums and they already have over 100,000 members. You could have not only started with 100,000 registered members but would have instantly gained access to 100,000 potential customers that like to buy old obsolete things.

Things are obsolete when they are no longer used, or better things come along, not newer, or different.
The only thing currently about digital PJ's that I like is the weight and convenience. Incidentally, digital pj's become obsolete a helluva lot faster than CRT's do.

Furthermore, his posts aimed at causing trouble (at least the ones in this thread) are so contrived. It doesn't make you angry, it makes you pity his pathetic existence. Now darin, with his sideways arguments and genuine desire to argue, really gets people going :)

I really don't appreciate being looked upon as "funny". I have bared my soul and shared why I have issues with CRT. Losing my beloved grandmother when she was squashed by an improperly mounted CRT is hardly a laughing matter and should not be made light of. As a result I'm a pathetic and sad individual. Just ask Person99 and linecircle . Though since I voted for myself and still only currently have 2 votes, that means that only one of them could have possible voted for me. That's disappointing to say the least. I was hoping all that hate and resentment would translate into some votes. It may not be too late Clarence, all hope is not lost .
