Either the AC input board or the SMPS has blown up. Pull out the AC input board, it's possible that PC board foils have lifted off the back of the board. That, or the fuse(s) has blown.
try that, and if that doesn't work, you should consider sending me the SMPS. If that works, then I'll send another AC input board back with it. There's some parts that should be upgraded on that SMPS anyways.

just put in the 2 new T5A fuses. Red stdby led comes on along with the 'Processor cycles' led that blinks rapidly. But this is of course still without the EHT in there. Would it be ok to go for the test with EHT?
I'm happy that it at least does something now, but if I could take it that one final step further that would be awesome of course

Eureka, it works!!!
Just went for it and plugged the EHT in. Fired up without a hitch.
I'm off to play with it some more
