Typical guy just like me .... you've got tons of pictures of the HT, Garage, and storage space, but no actual pictures of the rooms in the house. 
Reminds me of when we bought a house back in 2000... every time we walked into a new house I'd run to the basement and the wife would run upstairs.

See what I mean! I think it's safe to assume I know how to spell "thank". I reread that post before posting, as I always do, but it got by me anyway, as usual. 
I guess it's a miracle I can manage daily life without supervision.

Actually the reason is, most of those pics were taken last summer. I took the pics of the attic before the garage ceiling was sheet rocked. The attic floor doesn't go all the way to the edge where it meets the roof. I stood on a ladder and stuck my head (with camera) thru the ceiling to take those pics. That's way the view is almost at floor level. The garage pics were taken right after I finished it last summer. I took them then because I had to move all my inventory into the garage. Now it's so full of shelves and musical instruments that you can barely walk in it.
The HT and house pics I took this week. That was a lot more work than I thought. I borrowed 3 cameras before I actually took any photos. I ended up using a Fuji S3 with a 30-15 zoom. It worked very well, but the 15mm induced a lot of lens distortion that I had to fix with Photoshop. I took and fixed the main interior photos first. I wish I would have done them last, because I got a lot better at fixing lens distortion toward the end. I did the HT page first and will get the interior page done today.
I have new appreciation for your work on this site Kal. I've never composed a site with multiple pages and pics. With my simple HTML editor, creating all the links and pic addresses is a lot of work! I can't even imagine how you kept track of all the links and pages on this site.

Yup. Awesome digs! The vaulted ceilings are one of the things I miss living in a ranch style. At least in my 32 year old ranch. The floor plans are so much better these days. The basement access (door) and bathrooms (1.5) are smack dab in the middle of the floor plan as a 'cube' which makes for smaller bedrooms and dark hallways. It's going to take more than fancy camera work to generate interest in mine what with all the McMansions out there that have been recently foreclosed I have to compete against. 
The frustrating thing is, we had planned to sell it 2.5 years ago and ever since then it's been one thing or another that's prevented it; new job working further away from home (making more money but losing it to Big Oil commuting costs), the depreciated dollar, the housing fiasco (I personally don't think it's as bad as rumor and innuendo has made it to be), and all the other oil related demands on income (groceries, energy, etc).
Sweet looking house. I see what you meant by everything being white/light colored and afraid to install new carpeting and destroy it before the sale. Nice and light and airy tho.

Thanks guys! The house has it's negatives (high ceiling utilities bills for one), but I've enjoyed living in it. I'm definitely going to miss it, especially now that I finally fixed and finished everything. It's been "under cunstruction" the entire 4 years I've owned it.
Cheap housing is one of the pluses of living in Texas. It doesn't cost that much to get a pretty decent house.
I'm done! There were a lot of pics that I forgot to take, or I had to retake, as well as a lot more website work than I realized (at least it was a lot of for someone that doesn't really know what they're doing), but I finally got it finished late last night. This morning I rearranged how it was stored on the server to make it more organized. That broke many of my links, which I had to fix.
Another challenge in selling the house I forgot to mantion is the maroon/lavender (I guess) wall colors in the living and dining rooms. I may have to get that painted.
Let me know if you find anymore mistakes Clarence and the rest of you. I'm sure there's a lot!

LOL! It is pretty creepy looking, isn't it. I tried to hide behind a small wall, but was too fat to pull it off.
The master bathroom has three angled mirrors. It took me quite a while to find spots to position myself where you couldn't see me in the mirrors.

Its was wireless remote releases are for, Phil. I bought one for the wife for her Nikon DSLR and she learned exactly how danger it can be running around the house (and crawling onto things) in uncompromising stages of undress with me holding that remote.

A Wagner Power Roller is your best friend! Paint is applied evenly, quickly, and efficiently. One gallon of paint will go 1/3 or more farther (further? more-er?) with one. It almost makes painting fun...ALMOST!

I'm done painting. I've done all I'm going to do. I might do some touch up, but that's it.
I hired some painters to finish things up. We had some bad weather that prevented them from finishing some outside work. There was not much at all left to do, so I gave them $320 of the $430 price for the whole job. What has left to paint was 10-15% of the total job, and easy stuff too. It would take one helper 2 or 3 hours to do it. I thought for sure they'd come back to collect the $110. Nope! Haven't seen them and they won't return my calls. 
That's ok. For $110, I can easily get someone to finish it. But now I have to go through the whole process of finding someone again.

You have a beautiful house, Phil - you're making me depressed, now, that I'll have to spend nearly twice that much to get something similar in the boonies of the DC suburbs (I'm talking an hour and a half commute time to city center). Good luck with the sale!!

If you can fit the desk in another room, I would do so. The master bedroom should be staged as a bedroom in my opinion.

Thanks Ben! I actually feel sorry for people that live in areas where housing his expensive. I couldn't afford ANY house in a lot of areas of the country.
DC, I have to make a living until the house sells. I have no choice. It looks worse now than it did in the photos. I have studio lights that I moved before taking the photos. They're set back up now.

Speaking of selling a home, we had an open house today, and some guy put an arrow to his FSBO accross the street from my windows, where no car would see it, only people looking to buy my house. I pretty pissed since we live in a "no signs" association. I appreciate the moxie, but what a jerk.
