I have this intermittent problem with my Nec 6PG. Occasionally when I start it up, it won't recognized my source (xbox 360) and says "incompatible match- check input list" even though I have a saved setting for it already. Usually, to fix the problem I start a new memory block, and set the values to my old values from the original memory block.
What is the problem here? Faulty system board?

Cant remember if the 360 is a fixed setting or if it changes to the media native rate. My thought is it might be the source media. If not it could be the system board. Would have to hear it first hand to know. There is a different sound on some of the 'unregistered signal' and 'incompatible match' misses. This can even be a bad connection on the V sync changing it from separate sync to combined H/V sync or a transcoder glitch. Doug
