Hi all.
Having a hard time getting good focus on my sony 1271qm. So I hooked up a voltmeter
to the measuring-pins for the g2 voltages. Thing is, they seem to be a bit..odd..
According to curts guide the voltages are supposed to be approx. 4V .
What i got was: -0.2V , 0,3V , 3.72V

Before i start twisting the controls to get the voltages normal I am wondering if this
is actually possible or if the measuring-pins might give the wrong readings.

I think the voltages are supposed to be 1.5v for the 1271. My 1272 was very close to what you have now and I read somewhere here that the later PJ's needed to be at 1.5v. I'll try to find a link to the info. can't find it, maybe Curt will have it.

Hi

Oh I hope the 4 Volts is right as I have set all of mine as close to 4 Volt as possible as they were all down!

Mine were 1.3, 1.6, 3.78 to start with!

As I recall it's only the later model 1272's that are 1.5v, the others are 4v. Make sure the brightness and contrast are correct per the setup info here before setting the G2.

1271 should be 4V.

Remember that adjusting BIAS will cause voltages to change.

So reset the BIAS and GAIN (write down the values) and check again.

Set to 4V only after warming up.

Then it's normal that after the BIAS adjustments the values will change.
