I have had a Sony 1251Q in my theater for about three and a half years. Tonight when it was "movie time" the projector would not turn on. There were no fans on or lights on the key pad. I took off the cover and there is no read out on the two digit led trouble shooting display. Any ideas? I did check the receptecal and the fuse by the plug, all are fine, so it seem to be getting power to the projector. Any help or ideas to trouble shoot would be arppreciated also if you think it is a certain part could you give me an idea of the cost for that part.

Curt can verify, but if you've checked the cord, fuse and receptacle, then something in the LVPS probably failed. I assume it's totally dead when you toggle the main power switch on/off? No light by the IR window in the rear?
If it's just an LVPS, Curt can swap that with you pretty reasonably.
