I take it they don't update the status very frequently? According to the Canada Post website my box has been sitting in Ottawa for 8 days...

You can put in the same tracking number in the usps.com site. But, they are pretty much like Canada Post; updates are rare.
I did call the Canada Post people and got a better status that what was posted. For my tracking number, there is no status pn the Canada Post. Message says to call Customer Service at 866 607-6301.
Gotta have faith..............................................

Not that I'm in great need of it, but has anyone received their rembursement payment from Moome? I sent my request quite a while ago and haven't heard anything back. Perhaps his is swamped which would be no big deal, just wanted to check with other people first. Thanks.
Nate

Yup, not exactly on top of things. canadapost.com says my box is still in Ottowa. It's actually in my HT.

Hey guys,
I emailed Moome a few months back to request that he send me the parts to install into my moome ext HDMI converter. I haven't yet recieved the parts - anyone else here in a similar situation? Is Joust still repairing them?

Was there ever a fix for the problem of the moome ext box not being able to be turned off via the switch on the front of the box?
After using mine for about 30 minutes or longer, the switch will not power off the box. I have to manually remove power to get it to shut off.
Is there a fix, or is it just my box?

i have never seen this personally.
I have a box here I'm running.
I do know that Moome has an associate working on the software trying to track down the reported issues.
but if they cannot be reproduced, its hard to fix them.

Hi Joust,
I have two of these boxes that needs to be repaired/updated. Do I just send them to you? or I need to contact moome first?
Thanks,
Saeid

I forget who suggested this, but it's a good idea: I power my Moome from my receiver's switched outlet. That way I don't have to use the possibly-flaky remote to power it, and it gets reset every time I power up the receiver. Works great so far.

i have one here on 24/7
I just tried it and it powers off fine.
I've seen many (30-40) of these boxes and have never seen the problems described. I have seen temporary freezes. like 20 seconds but it always started responding again.

Not a bad idea. Although mine will be sitting on top of the pj (ceiling mounted).

Maybe it's just mine.
I'll see if moome says he's had any other problems.
