PG9 xtra & PG6 xtra remote codes the same?

The above questions says it. I just picked up a PG6 xtra with nice smooth milky white (sorry got excited) tubes. No remote so I downloaded the PG9 xtra codes for my Pronto. I cannot get the adjust button to work. The cut off of the tubes buttons work as well as some others but not adjust.

It's impossible on a Pronto...

Just pony up for a proper remote...it's worth it.
