Guys if you look on ebay I am the one who left feedback. I purchased 3 tubes one lug of each color they sent me pics of the tube faces before i purchased them I chose the ones i wanted. Then paid and about 5 buisness days later they arrived well packaged all tubes are 9s on the rating scale (not to say that yours will be to but i got to choose. customer service was excelent. I would reccomend them I could provide pics if you like. So they have been tested with a crt tester and all is well. I will be installing them shortly. I will be selling my blue(7) green(6.5) and red(9) p19lcp09s to whomever may want them.

i am sure you will be happy with the service. The way they package them is great lots of foam and well padded at least 3" of foam on any one side.

Remember the thing about conspiracies is that if there is no proof it is a conspiracy hypothesis, if there is some proof to back it up then it becomes a conspiracy theory.

So when they say to the public "that is just a conspiracy theory" or "let us not tolerate any outragious conspiracy theories" they are actually admitting that it is true and there is some proof to back it up.

The fact that people relate the term 'conspiracy theory' to meaning it is untrue is because they have brainwashed the sheeple into thinking that way. Wink

What about a local forum member stopping by your company and checking things out? That would put an end to all the speculation as to whether you're legit or not.

That would be to easy. Rolling Eyes I know there are CRT guys in mid Florida, but I guess they want someone else to do it. Like it would take all of an hour or so. Hmmm, an hour of time for the opportunity to find an inexpensive resource for good tubes.

Since when is $300. for a burned tube a great deal ???

I've got a whole garage full of burned tubes, are they now a pile of gold ?

I've been throwing them out slowly, have I been throwing away gold ??

I just don't get how anyone can think buying burned tubes is a great idea. I mean, maybe for $20. each, but $300. each ?? Thats just crazy to give some dumpster diver that much for unknown performance condition junk...

I don't know, as I am not that much of a snob like Techman. He used to always admonish people to buy brand new tubes and nothing else. I could live with "7" rated tubes for $250 apiece. If I could pick up a a burned out Marquee for cheap, then I could have a decent 9" pj for an inexpensive price.

Tiffany,
Good luck! Are you the company that Scott from VDC talked about? I think he mentioned that there was a company in Orlando that was sitting on a big stockpile of tubes.

As dropzone said, is there any 8" tubes on the way? That would make a lot of people happy.Smile

We are in the process of getting a list together of the CRT's we are able to get, when that is finished I will update the website and post a message here.

Thank you,
Tiffany

Thanks! I will be traveling through Florida in the next week or so. If it is possible, then would you mind if I dropped in?

I'm glad you chimed in again on this Eric. It was you I was hoping could check them out.

At this point, I'm convinced this is a scam. We're their target market. Who else is going to buy their tubes? It's us or nobody. So you'd think they'd be putting a LOT of effort into selling themselves to us. Tiffany has responded to this thread all of twice. 2 days since her last post. No response to someone checking them out on person.

Sorry you got burned Curt! I have to commend you for taking it so well!

I let you guys go on for 4 pages without me, as I'd paid my money and I'd taken my chances. No point in commenting and speculating until I got some boxes. I got 5 boxes in today. Raw tubes, no anode leads or hardware as was discussed prior to purchase. One green tube is being siliconed into Ampro hardware as I type this. Can't install it for a couple of days as the silicone dries.

The one red tube I pulled out of the box is probably usable, but as a test unit only. Wear is offset and in the simulator/windshield wiper pattern common to these simulator applications. THe fact that the red shows wear means it's got a lot of hours on it. The G and B tubes look much better, but until I see an image and check the G2 settings on them, there's nothing to report other than I got the tubes..Smile

As a PS: As with VDC, I can only imagine that the company here is very busy servicing expensive simulators. Selling used tubes ain't their bread and butter I'd be guessing, so cut them a bit of slack that they're not hanging out here every hour on the hour like the rest of us ne'er do wells. Very Happy

Glad to be wrong on this Curt! I just re-read the auction you bought from. They described them as having light to heavy phosphor wear, so I guess you got what you were promised. It doesn't say anything about not having anode leads though. Current auctions don't mention anything about wear or leads, although it does show a pic of a tube with noticeable windshield wiper wear.

If they're legit, it's great, if only because of the price for new tubes.

PS: They went to a lot of trouble to sell on ebay and setup a website--to reach us! Time spent in this thread would be as, or more, beneficial than ebay and the website combined. Word of mouth from us is invaluable.

Those are not mine. But I have a very good idea of what's going on here. Same source as mine came from.

One phone call tomorrow can confirm it.

If they're the ones I think they are, I could have literally had all of them for free. BUT...enough of YOU guys pissed and moaned about a TINY amount of visible wear on the ones I had available that I chose not to pursue the matter.

I have a very few remaining, all of which would rate an 8 plus to any SANE individual.

I have at least one RGB set available. 500 bucks will take the set. Any remaining extras (I think that's one green and one red) will go for 200 each.

Yeah, well there is that. BEcause you probably won't be using an ideal surface area if you want to remain within the very slight wear area, someone will indeed bitch and moan and wreck it for the rest of us. They are what they are, used tubes at a fraction of the price of new ones.

Once the silicone dries on the one green (and I'll probably seat a blue into a 1209 frame this weekend, I will post again. To me, G2 emission is as important as even wear.

The used tubes are all well and good. I'm more interested in the 'new' ones for just under a grand.
Anyone ready to pull the trigger and see how they are?
