I was thinking of building Scott's gamma design for a fun project. The only place I remember seeing it was at the Evil twin. Did anyone save the latest revised design before the Twin folded? Thanks,

Why not just ask tse? He is a member here and he knows the design best.

I could have directed the post to Scott but if someone has it, it would save him the trouble of digging it up.
OK, out to the laboratory to test out my new HD Fury and see how well it couples to my gooned-up Ampro.

Chip, I have a completed card here I could let you borrow if you would like to test it first...

Good job Tom! I thought I had saved it all but it turns out I only had a fraction of it. This gets burned to a CD this time.
I wish I had the savvy to build one.
Can this be made to be adjustable without any major design changes? I didn't see a pot on the list so I can assume it's not? Would the insertion of a pot in place of a key resistor make it so? (yup...non EE over simplifying)
Greg

Yes, I would like to try it. I'll PM the info. Also, do you still have the Sencore rejuvinator? I have a P19 blue that I'd like to give a shot to.

Hi Chip. Got your PM but unfortunately I just sent the Sencore in for factory calibration. Will ship tse's card out to you for a bit of testing. All inputs and outputs are via BNC connectors with combined HV sync. If you would like you can ship the tube to me in a couple weeks. What problem are you having with it ?

If anyone wants to build one of these or modify the gamma curve of the one that they have just yell. I'll be glad to help.

Thanks Scott !
It would be nice to be able to fine tune the gamma curve

Just read your PM Scott. Looks like it might be a little difficult to adjust the gamma curve. Can you please post the revision you sent me here ? Having a problem with the GIF file.

Hi Guys,
In december 2007 I gave up the newer URL for the evil twin as I believe there are enough CRT based forums already.
The Evil twin was originally designed so a small group of people could discuss designs related to CRT advance. I was not part of the original group.
Sadly some of these designs were used by some for financial gain. There will always be those that are corrupt, But they all get caught in the end.
The idea was that these designs could be built by anyone for free.
SO MANY MANY THANKS to TSE and others who contributed and continue to do so.

Hey guys, I'm just following the circuit to see what Scott has done there. Is it complete? Where does /Sample go? What about RED and RED_SW? Seems like something is missing. Thanks.
