The card Marc just did for my customer started to show problems where the video would just drop out after it was on for a couple of hours. At first we thought it was the projector but the menu's still worked. Shutting off and back on would restore the image. This only happened about once a month at the start but got worse over the next month then finally failed altogether.
There was no streaking what so ever with this ISS 6010 but one of the early ones. If your seeing drop outs for no reason bypass to check it or turn on and off to see if it restores. There are not many 'things' that last this long without problems so call it preventative maint but has earned its place to be recapped.
BTW: If it looks easy its not and do it right without lifting traces or leaving a mess. Marc has the right tools and knowledge for this kind of work. Doug
