I got home tongiht to see I had a call on the answering machine. It was block buster automated voice telling me I have items over due. I thought they did away with late fee's?

They did but they like to remind you to return stuff the day before they charge to total to you credit card. I get these calls all the time.

On two day titles they remind you on the second day. They will charge you for the moveis on about the tenth day. Then if you bring them back you have a restocking fee of about $1.25 per title. I always pick up new titles on Tuesdays and I get the phone call on Thursday. I return them on the following Tuesday as I am picking up the new releases for that week.

I also pick up and return movies on Tuesdays but I don't get the call until the next Monday.

I figured out what it was. I rented NEXT and Harry Potter -OOTP on HD-DVD. Next was listed on the cover as a 2 day rental and Harry Potter was listed as a full week's rental. However on the reciept it says Harry P' is a two night rental.
Clarical error I guess. BTW that don't have a credit card on file from me. They just renewed me since I have been with them since 2002 and I always rent with cash.
