Hi guys,

I'll get a Barco Graphics 1208 (back-transformed from a SEOS as I was told by the seller) and there is something I didn't recognize before on the pictures. The Barco hasn't a topcase on it (at least at the pictures). So is there a place I can get topcases from? Without a topcase it looks a little odd to me.

Do you have any other pictures. In the first picture it looks like the case is on it (painted black)

Could this one be of any help?

BTW: Do you mean the red tube will possibly run some thousand hours from now on?

Looks like the case is off in that picture. Ask the seller to give you a picture of the projector all put back together in a lit room and we will be able to tell for sure.

Yeah, made this some hours ago.

BTW: What could this black casing thing be that's shown on one of the pictures (other than the upper case)?

Damn I'm totaly confused. Can't wait to have it inhouse. Will hopefully outperform most of the Plasmas,LCDs and LCD/DLP Projectors I've seen to date (especially the SAMSUNG M8 which I originaly saved the money for).

If it won't amaze me PQ wise I'll sell it at the forums and buy a DLP Laughing

Just got an answer from seller. He replied something like "Of course there is an upper casing. It's not in that good shape however (many scratches)."

I'm damn happy now. Scratches are no problem as I'm going to paint it Glossy Black or Blue with some glitter on it (could also be glossy red without glitter. Would also look good I thin) Smile

Hopefully the picture quality of a Barco Graphics 1208 is as good as so many guys in different forums and also online magazines stated. I'm really hoping to get some decent PQ which's on par with most theatres.

BTW: Digital really stinks at some point. I remember beeing in a Digital Cinema when watching Pirates Of The Carribbean 2. Looked totaly horrible with low detail and totaly blurred picture. Pirates Of The Carribbean 3 however was in an "old styled" analogue theatre which I really enjoyed a lot. Warmer colours, decent sharpness and mindblowing detail.
