|
|
Hi Kal and Moome. I hate to be a pest, but I have friends and customers asking about Marquee internal HDMI cards and whether more will be avialable? It seems like batch #2 sold out pretty fast, will there be another set coming up soon (I hope)?
BTW, I have been using my card along with HD-A2 player exclusively on my 8500, it just blows away any RGB source I have ever seen.

I'm tempted to get a VIM-HD card for my 8500 just to avoid the problems with the EXT-HD. Dragan is delighted with his VIM-HD and he ain't easy to please. But I like the 2-HDMI switching &etc of the EXT-HD. Kal, does Moome expect to get the EXT-HD working equally as well as the VIM-HD?

I would rather like to see a HDMI 1.3 version of the Marquee card. After that there would be plenty of these previous cards for those who do not have them yet.

Moome very much wants the EXT-HD to work as well as his internal cards. That's the intent.
There will likely be HDMI 1.3 versions of all his cards in the future but some of these will be quite far away... so he wants to sell some of the current cards in the meantime.
FWIW, HDMI 1.3 gives you very little in a card like this. What'll be interesting however is the newer parts that Moome intends to use in his next cards. That will be what makes a difference, not HDMI 1.3.
Kal

I got to play around with a Sony PS3 the other night and realized what a beater it was. I'm glad I have HD-A2 you guys gave me for my big 4-o, that is a kick-ass little machine.
Good to hear another batch of cards is on the way, every one who see's my set-up emmediately wants one.
