Hi, I live in a place where i'm not allowed to install my pj on the ceilling. So i made myself a vertical stand with a 45 degrees mirror. The good thing is that it only take 50cm x 60cm in my room.
Now call me stupid but i heard by someone who don't really know for sure (i know..) that the more you use a crt the more it create's a powder inside the tube... So by mounting vertically my pj, can i create some damages? It's currently installed vertically and i see no changes in performance. It's working 100% fine.
I'll post some pictures soon if any of you are interested to see it. I work in a welding shop and we have tons of steel. It's all mig welded. It can be dis-assembled for transport and it's fully adjustable.
Hey Curt if you read this you have my salutations! I bought from you a huge box of old parts (and new parts) 2 or 3 years ago! I'm glad for you that you business expanded that much!

Nice job. I few others have done this also.
Mounting vertical does not have issues--in fact, retros all shipped from the factory mounted vertically.

Great work! what kind of mirror are you using? I think these pictures might motivate a few members to try this out! how big a screen are you running?

Like i said it's for a tight place.. my screen is 66x48". The mirror is a standard mirror but it's a good quality mirror. It has no disformations and the glass is thick and clear. It's not a 9.99$ Wal-Mart value pack mirror hehe. On the internet they say we are supposed to use optical mirror wich is really expensive.
