I have been playing with my 8111 sitting on a table but now it is time to mount it on the ceiling. My test measurements matched the Marquee Throw Distance Calculator. 93 inch wide screen = 123.46 throw distance. Since the Throw Distance Calculator also calculates the straight line distance I was going to use 127.69 @ 11 degrees from the Calculator since the angle will be different than when I had it set on the table. I will have a couple of inchs of movement in the mounting so all should be good. When I went to draw it all out on paper to make sure I got it all right I checked the measurement specs from the Marquee Manual, thats when I noticed the dimensions for the old Marquee and the new Madrigal and VDC foot distance is different. Since the Marquee Throw Distance Calculator uses the front foot location for the straight line distance I just wanted to make sure the Marquee Throw Distance Calculator is based on the old Marquee dimensions. Does any one know? There is a 2 inch difference. Of course the front foot could be in the same place and they may have just moved the back foot location.
