|
|
I have a Barco 808 Graphics which I love. It has a convergence problem which started out intermittent and is now happening more frequently. On startup the blue will shift to the right on the right side of the screen only. The left side of the screen will remain in place. It will stay in this state for 15 minutes or so and then come back into convergence. Is there a board with aging components? Is this an adjustment issue or am I replacing a board? Thank you in advance for your help.

Have you taken out the boards and then reseated then /cleaned the contacts?
Could just be a simple contact with a crappy connection.

Thanks, this is a good idea. I have not yet done this. I will pull the boards this weekend. Is there a special procedure or chemical that should be used? Thanks,

I pulled the cards out and all of the connections seemed to be in good shape. This did not solve the problem. I have noticed that I am unable to move the blue on the far right side of the screen during a convergence. It will move when you are moving the entire rastor but not during a convergence. You can run that square from 0-100 and the blues lines don't budge on the far right side of the screen. I think that it is a hardware problem. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
