How do you correct uneven astig, my red is sharper on the right side of the screen and the focus gets softer as you go from left to right. I could not use optical focus to fix it, so it is not a optical focus issue.
What tricks does everyone us to get the ultimate focus? I'm thinking I need a better way to view the screen to get better focus. The binoculars I use do a decent job, but if I had a better way of seeing the results on the screen I know I could get it better.
Thanks, Deron.

I have noticed something similar with my 1272. I have been letting it get used to it's new home on the ceiling before doing any more adjustments for a while and since it is going to be raining here this weekend I'll give it a go. Is this maybe a lens flapping issue?

No lens flapping issue. If it's a flapping issue you would be able to focus both sides, just not at the same time. It's a problem with astig favoring the left side of the screen (right side of the tube).
