Hi!

I have a question regarding the picture size.

In the manual/User Guide the distans is 299cm meter for screen size 100".

Next i press the # key to get the grid.

The Grid is bigger than the actual "video" input.

If i adjust the Grid to be 1cm from edges on tube.
I get a small "video" picture in the center of the screen, bigger distans from edges on tubes.

I have used the size button on remote to set grid.

How do i fix this ?

This sounds normal,

The larger grid fills the entire raster or active tube area, the video input is contained within this area. To get the correct picture size you have to have your source connected and maximize the image, this will probably put the raster over the edge of the tubeface but this is Ok as no video will be running in this area. You can then use blanking to keep the grid from running off the sides of the tubeface.

What is your source, if you are unable to fill the tubeface with the image you will need to adjust the porch settings of the video source. This can be done with Powerstrip on a PC or with a scaler if you are using standalone sources.

Also you should not be going by the manual for your throw distance. You will get better results if you remove the lenses maximize the picture put the lenses back on and pull the projector away until it fills the screen.

Hope This Helps,

Erik
