Umm, your first post, and you're pimping another CRT forum in your LARGE signature?

While you're not technically breaking any forum rules here, it's certainly not in good form....

Pull out the convergence tray and fire the set up. You'll get the same I2R error codes, but see if the rest of the set will work correctly. Sounds like the convergence driver card is bad, I can repair that.

Cheers!

That's different problem, back ir receiver is probably broken. But you can use internal remote to test...

The I2R errors are normal without the convergence board. Does the green tube light up with the video image and can you post a pix of the test grids on the screen? If they look normal, then you can pull the convergence boards out of the tray and send them to me. Send me an email through the site and I'll tell you how to send them in.

Thanks!

The menus on the green should come on all the time with the menus. I think you just have a bad connection. Check all CRT connections around the CRT socket to see if something is loose.

OK, directly over each tube socket is the video output amplifier, bolted to the chassis with two screws. Change the green with the red, and see if the red goes dead.
I'll bet the green will come to life.
