|
Dear z-photo and rest of the world,
know these great test screen photos made by z-photo. Once I found a link on avsforum where you could download the 1080p resolution version. With the latest computer crash the files got lost Too bad I forgot where I got them from in the first place and i just don't find them anymore.
These pictures are really great as many others of your photos are too. Could you be please let me know if and where they are still available? Currently building version 2.0 of my basement theatre and I would love to show some pitures with your photos on the screen.
Thanks very much
hansili

Thank you very much sir. Question,
Can I just pop the pic on my memory card in root and the PS3 will see it or do I have to name a specific folder?

Yes, just copy the image(s) to the root of the SD/CF/MS card, insert in the PS3. Then on the PS3 main menu, click "Photo", "SD Memory Card".
It will probably say "there are no images" (I haven't figured out why it always says this).
At "SD Memory Card" click green triangle (up)... display all... blue X (down).
(The non-intuitive magic button is the Green Triangle).
R1 (top right trigger) advances to next picture.
R2 (lower right trigger) rotates.
"Start" does slideshow.
I left a 2GB SD in your PS3 a couple of weeks ago. You can keep it... it was part of a 2 pack from costco.

Does the PS3 have any limitations of what resolution ceiling it can output from a memory card?

Congrats Kai for that beautiful peace of art and sorry for messing up the intellectual property.
There are loads of test pics and pattern generators around. For testing and optimizing this is okay, for a demonstration of picture quality I prefer something more aesthetic. This enhances also the WAF.
If someone has more of these high quality motives in at least 1920x1080 resolution please post the link for download.
