I seemed to have lost my collection of a million jumpers. When shorting out the pins for the G2 adj procedure can I use alligator clips? I'm afraid to short the pins against the box and I can't determine if the box is metal or not. Is there any danger to the pj or myself in doing this?

Box is aluminium and it's connected to ground. Jumper connect ABL control loop to ground, so it's same thing if you accidentally short pin to box.
I once used screwdriver to short pins...
