Buzzing noise from rear of blue tube, or thereabouts?

Subject says it all. I got the projector up to rough height and position, and was getting ready to revisit centering the raster, but first I had to pop the case to switch the scan back around for the ceiling mount. After doing that, I turned it on with the lid still off, and notice a soft buzzing noise coming from the back of the blue tube, or its neck board, or something around there. It is not loud, and the tube lights up and displays stuff, at least...

Does this sound to anyone like something I should be worrying about at this point?

EDIT: I should add that I noticed this buzzing the first time I had it powered up, when it was on the floor, but the case was closed and I didn't know where it was coming from. I figured it was a power supply. Now that I know it is only 1 of 3 similar assemblies making a noise, it seems more suspicious.

Thanks.

Hello

You did not say what model of projector, but a capacitor on the neckboard could be buzzing at the vertical refresh rate around 60hz, not to worry if the tube works OK.

I'm sorry, I assumed everyone knew what I was dealing with from my floundering about so far. Wink Very self-centered of me.

It's a Marquee 8500.

Thanks for the response. I just wasn't sure if it was okay to go ahead or not. I'll turn it back on and get back to my floundering.
