I am using a HTPC to run my Marquee 8500 via the VIM-HD card. I am using a 5meter super DVI to HDMI from Straight Wire for the connection. I want to use a 4:3 aspect ratio, at as high a resolution as possible. When I apply this 1280 x 960 resolution the set can do it but, the picture horizontally gets noticeably smaller than a 1024 x 768 @60hz signal which is the resolution I have been using succsesfully. I guess my question is, does the VIM-HD card support this resolution and has any one else used this resolution through a VIM-HD card.

My system.
Asus mother board.
AMD dual core cpu
Memory: Corsair XMS2 DDR2
Nvidia 7950GT gc
Office XP
Marquee 8500
