So that used VP50Pro I picked up, had original v1.00 firmware. So I upgraded to v1.50 and re-setup everything and I noticed two things: 1) the shift/porch values are significantly different than what I mentioned in my previous post. I'm too lazy to go look now but the shift went from 329 to something around 370. 2) It's outputting a proper 60 hz, again through no intervention of my own. Maybe I was hitting a bug in the v1.00 firmware that was causing the 56 hz output ?? Anyway, all seems well now.
