I am planning on adding a 15" sub under the second row. I will be able to back the 21" down some. Women get to excited back there.

It is a good thing I am not in a development. I have 400' of woods between me and the neighbor on one side and the other side they are about 200' away. I have about 1000' of woods between me and the people behind me. They are just starting to build across the street but they will be 500'away. |

Nope no gardening in here.
I do like to put you IN the movie. I like to let you feel like you are in the movie. 120" plus rocking sound works real well.

I run them pretty hard. The picture looks fantastic. When they get real bad,I will pull the ones out of the spare 4600 that is on its side behind the back row. And by the time I toast both sets of tubes, 9" sets will be dirt cheap as more people switch to digitals.

So how many kilowatt hours are in a $400 electricity bill???
I'm about to get on my high horse...I can't resist. I spat on the windscreen of a Hummer yesterday...same urge.

And the point of that? It's someone else's property and you defaced it. If someone did that to one of my rides there'd be hell to pay.
Now back to the topic. Paul, can you fit anymore projectors in there?

Yeah, and I usually have total respect for other people's property.
But that fades into insignificance when the @#$#@er buys a monstrosity like that. We got Global Warming and Peak Oil on the way, and they buy a Hummer anyway. Not acceptable. Period.
Paul, you said it was a "triple wide mobile home". Umm..does mobile home means something different to you guys? I thought it was a caravan trailer, but it looks like a normal house. Bit lost here....

A monstrosity? Please. So, do you also spit on people's vehicles that you know waste thousands of liters of gas commuting tens of thousands of kilometers per year when they could simply work closer to home (or live closer to work)? Do you also spit on people's other vehicles that get just as bad - if not worse - fuel economy than the Hummer? Do you spit on the vehicles of people that waste gas going on vacation a long distance from home? Do you drive out to the airport and spit on guys' small airplanes, too? How about boats?
You're obviously a self-righteous *******. Period.

Mobile home means that it is constructed in sections. Mine has two sections that are 14x60 and one that is 12x30. They have a steel frame under each section and are in wheels. They bring the sections in,bolt them together, put them up on pilings and remove the axles. you can at any time put the axles back under and unbolt the sections and wheel it away. That is why it is called a mobile home. Although they prefer to call them manufactured homes. They can range from totally flimsy crap to very well built. Mine is on the upper end and is built better than some stick built homes.
Analog, There is the 4200G and 2000 setting on the floor in the corner. But I am hoping that they will find a home in someone else's theater.

You and I will NEVER see eye to eye.
Have you read the latest IPCC report, released on the 17th? The age of the car and excess fossil fuel has to end. There's no doubt anymore - their hasn't been for 10 years actually.
Here's a link in case it didn't make Faux News:
http://www.ipcc.ch/pdf/assessment-report/ar4/syr/ar4_syr_spm.pdf
Worse than a Hummer??? That's funny. Like what? A M41 Abrams? The only thing worse on the roads here are semi trailers, and they SERVE A PURPOSE. Even if there is a car worse than a Hummer, the Hummer also symbolises the US Military Industrial Complex - about the number 1 thing on the planet we could do without.
And why was the price of oil $50 a barrel 9 months ago, and now it's pushing $100?? What if it doubles again in 9 months? (Well, Alberta tar sands are now financially viable, which will sure help in the long term...unless you happen to like Alberta looking the way it does instead of a giant festering sore due to strip mining.)
Half you yanks live in Cheney's lala land of "The US way of life is not negotiable". War for oil remember, you dragged us into it. Iran is next.
And yes, if it's pure recreation, and it uses oil, then it's social acceptability will have to be revisited - your troops are dying for it. Sail boats are fine. Dirty great Stink boats are not.
Self Righteous? Maybe...Got your attention though. Realistic? Yes. The next 30 years are basically set by the carbon load (+equivalents) we already carry from the last 200 years. It's the 30 after that we can affect.

Yes I know what you mean.
It seams to me that lately some one has to turn EVERY thread into either-
A. Environmental
or
B. Political.
I do not understand why those kinds of discusions can not be kept to the OFF TOPIC section. There are a lot of us that do NOT come here to talk about either one.
I come here to talk to other people that enjoy the hobby(addictive hobby) of CRT PJs.
