I've had that on my XB360 along with slews of others but Scaled and upconverted they look like snot. I'm a diehard Looney Tunes fan also and suppose I should live up to that and buy some professionally remastered stuff.
I grabbed alot of my full length (crappy looking on the 8500) tunes from this site....hmmm...looks like they only link to other sites now. Anyway, lots of good history info here:
http://looney.goldenagecartoons.com/
Most memorable line from a Looney Tune for me was Foghorn Leghorn talking to the dog.
"BOY. AH SAY BOY! YO MO MIXED UP THAN A FEATHUH INA TOE-NAY-DOUGH! AHHH EH-HEH-HEH"
Here's the complete illustrated ACME catalog for a good chuckle.

Hee, Duck Dodgers. Definitely a fave. And the Road Runner & Coyote, Forhorn Leghorn...
Other than Duck Dodgers, probably my favorite ever was Rabbit Fire. (And Rabbit Seasoning, and Duck! Rabbit! Duck! "You're dithpicable...."
And then you can't forget the classic What's Opera, Doc? Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit...
Th-th, uh th-th-th, uh, th-that's all, folks!

Dude,
You're not alone! I'm 44. I have all of the sets except the new vol5 (getting that soon). I recommend all of them. Most of them are ripped to my server and played through the PC. I will always live Looney Tunes. Chuck Jones Especially.

I'm only 29, .. 28? 29? I'm not sure. I think 29. But I'd love to get my hands on a good DVD print of the classic looney tunes stuff.
I remember being in my grandmother's house one Saturday morning, watching a Wile E. Coyote cartoon, and laughing until my sides hurt at the 'huge electromagnet' skit where Wile E.'s electromagnet, instead of just grabbing bugs bunny's (planted) iron carrot, rakes in farm implements, tractors, cars, radio towers, ocean liners, and rockets, with air raid sirens going off, people screaming, sparks flying... my god, that was some funny stuff. There's nothing like ignoring the cube-of-distance rule for magnetism to generate some good humor.

Vol 5 on ebay. 5 disc set. I just grabbed a copy. Now I have some decent Intermission material instead of the horribly mangled material I show now. That and...and I get to relive some childhood moments.

I envision having it setup on my htpc so that when i do a movie party it'll do a Welcome to the ------ theater message, then the dancing hot dogs clip..."lets all go to the lobby..." then a preview movie of a looney tunes, or tom and jerry or three stooges. then the feature presentation!
someday

Don't you people know about the Deep Discount 20" off sale going on right now ( http://www.deepdiscount.com )? Not only 20% off, but free shipping. Definitely cheaper than Ebay, especially since most seller charge way too much for shipping.
Big Looney Tunes fan here also. I own the first four Golden Age laser discs collections (I once owned Vol. 5 also, but I sold it because it was too valuable to keep. Copied it to dvd first) and all the single Looney Tunes laser discs, and now, with the Deep Discount sale, I'll own all five dvd collections.

Sounds like you've gone down that road. Trust me...it would be a waste of money that I could be using to buy instant gratification toys with. If I need anyone to listen I'll go see Joe the Bartender.

I would have thought you were at least 20-30 years older based on many of your intonations.

I was always partial to the Bob Clampett ones, "Porky in Wackyland", Tortoise Wins By A Hare", the Beaky Buzzard/Bugs Bunny series and one where all of these book titles come to life and ends with Daffy Duck singing this great scat number.
I also wish they'd issue Tex Avery’s MGM cartoons on DVD. (I have them on laserdisc, but my player's broken.) He started at Warner Brothers and is credited with creating Bugs Bunny before moving to MGM. The timing and the double takes in those films are insane. The animation style of "The Mask" was all Tex Avery. I once went to theatrical screening of some of his shorts and it's the only time I remember falling out of my seat because I was laughing so hard.

The final price is $44.89, right? That's after the 20% discount? That's only a buck or two less than Amazon, which also offers free shipping.

I meant to suggest your attitude was more along the lines of an old crank.
