Hi all.

Polk Audio RT series 7.3 setup. I have collected a pair of RT2000p's, a CS1000p, and two sets of FX1000's over the years. Basically its Polk's RT5000 setup, plus a pair of surrounds for 7.1, with the same mid/tweeter pairs for all speakers. There are 11 sets of identical mids and tweeters, and my thinking is that timbre matched just sounds better.

I've hunted for a pair of the RT3000p's for a long time, and found a set of the top modules recently. Just couldn't find the bottom sub modules. (Anybody got a set for sale?) Rolling Eyes

I use a Pio Elite VSX-84txsi for pre/pro, with a Yamaha M-80 driving the mains, a Carver M500t bridged to mono driving the center (which has a built-in sub), and use the internal amp in the Pio to drive the surrounds.

Three SVS 20-39PCPlus subs, fed through an SMS-1, which adds nicely to the sub amps in the mains and center. I cross over at 80Hz and have PLENTY of bass. Couldn't come close to balancing everything without the SMS-1, but it (eventually) gives me a nice flat response curve. My Berkline 090's each have a Aura bass shaker installed, controlled by a IR remote-adjustable plate amp. (Found it on eBay a couple of years ago and can adjust it with my pronto.) Did I mention I like bass?

NEC 10PG with a 120" Stewart screen, fed by HD DVD, BD, and HD DVR, and SD DVD via SDI and VP30.

Oh, and a popcorn popper...
