I have a few Arcade machines to sell.

I have two uprights and two Coctail Tables.
the titles are: Joust and Ladybug. (uprights) The Coctails are Sinistar and Rygar and Pengo.
It pains me to sell my Joust. It what I took my name from...... It is the only dedicated machine. all others are conversions. I also have a ton of original game boards i need to sell.

Sorry for the delay.
Anyways, here is the pinout of the AV plug on xbox.

So, what you have to do is ground 5,6,7 to 17,28,19 to switch to RGB mode on xbox. Once you have done that, you connect your V,R,G,B which are on 24,22,11,9 to your screen and also you have to ground your three colors by connecting pin 8(main ground) to 17,18,19 and these 4 grounds will go into your ground on the monitor. Honestly, I think it’s just easier to purchase one of cables here:

It already comes with a video amp which boosts signal from 1v to 5v.
Chris.

so first thing to note. it is NOT a TV. it won't take composite video. its RGBHV @ 15khz. Most sources will not output that low of a scan rate.
you can get a video card to output that. there are off the shelf cards that are made for arcade monitors.
if you want to use an xbox, it might be easier and cheaper to use an old TV in place of that monitor. you could probably sell the monitor for three times the cost of a used tv. |
KI2 is standard resolution, which is 15.7khz. Also, in arcade-speak; med res is 24khz, and high res is 31.5khz (aka: VGA, 640x480). and most sources do output that 'low' of a scan rate, composite video is 15.7khz. Compvid to RGBHV converters are available inexpensively.. Basically nothing but arcade machines ever used 24khz (read: nothing you're likely to have laying around, no consumer products other than some computers 15+ years ago used that res), and nearly any PC can output 31.5 on RGBHV.. but your monitor can't handle that.
I suggest you search on some mame forums, everybody else has had the same issues at some point and they can give you all the options. search before you post, this sort of thing has been covered a zillion times I'm sure.
good place to start:
