See the attached photo's.
First is the an all white screen with all tubes on and the second is all white with just the blue on. You will see that there is some vertical banding or something like that on the blue. It does not show up on the other tubes. There is also alot of blue push (not to blooming) in the area inside of the bands or the center of the screen. The projector is also kicking the deflection circuit(I think that is it) so it the screen zaps away then comes back. Sometimes it comes back fuzzy when it does that and sometimes it is normal, and sometimes the machine totally shuts down.
I have reseated all the boards, changed the neck card on the blue and pulled the CCM card. Nothing seems to change this.
Any ideas?

Guys!
That is weird on blue. Try removing the Acon logic board if installed. Try swapping blue and green coax lines out of the top of the VIM. Do the bands move if H Size is varied?

Thanks Tim. I will do it at halftime of the Pats/Cowbows game. Not wathcing on the Quee  . No ACON Board installed.
Also, note that the Blue tube is a LUG and the other tubes are PT-22's. Not sure if that matters but I have had little idiosyncracies with the LUG really ever since I installed it.

Take out the CC board. Pull the focus board. Disconnect the astig and convergence plugs going to the blue tube.

.......and then fire it up and report what I see?
Should I do this before or after what Tim suggested?

OK I just did what Tim suggested.
The blue still had the problem with the banding or whatever the verticle lines and push in the middle of the screen is. I adjusted the horiz size and the lines did not move, the size just enclosed on them.

The problem would seem to be in the phosphor then........?

I would be surprised if it was. I haven't pulled the lens off but it just showed up one day along with the other issue of the major push in the center and fluctuating grey scale. The tube has less 1000hrs on it as I installed brand new and it has never seen any kind of static image. I will check tonite regardless.

Hello
Go into convergence for blue static and hit ### for white field, and cap the green lens. If the lines do not move then it has to be in the phosphor.

Well the brain trust is correct. WTF, this was a brand new LUG tube and has about 1200 hrs on it. Never seen a static image.

Hey!
You know what......those vertical streaks look brown and they coincide with the fill holes......maybe it is Rust! That might be cleanable at VDC Shreveport or with CLR ? Replace the filler screws with stainless steel after cleaning.

Yeh I thought the same thing. I pumped the bellow as much as I could but didn't see any movement. I hope you are right. Could just mean I need to flush and replace the coolant and install some stainless screws. This still doesn't account for the major blue push I am getting in the center and the intermittent shutdown and fluctuating grey scale. I need to do more trouble-shooting per Curt's advice on this.

If you're ever in the Melbourne area, you can take your pick of the couple of LUGs I have left. I think there's at least one blue which is
definitely in better shape than the one pictured IF the phosphor is what we're seeing.
Cost...take them away! Get them out of my life!
You'll do all right. The best of them are very nice. Not perfect, but very watchable.
I'm just totally out of time or inclination to mess with that stuff these days.
My own 9500LC is all the toy I want to play with anymore and I don't have time to do
a few things to it that need doing.
You might even get some other extras that you'll find useful and valuable.

Thanks Chris, that is a very nice gesture. I have a mint P-22 sitting on a shelf that will go in if this one if is burned. And if it is some kind of deflection burn or something I need to get it figured out before I install the new tube.
