I am curious if anyone know of a way to tell which type of hd 10's are on a projector when the stickers have been removed? Looking to trade my gt17's for some hd10s, but want to make sure they are not 10L's which would make my problem worse.
Thanks

That seems to happen a lot with HD10 lenses - no markings. I have two sets of HD10s which don't have any markings on them.
The only reason I am sure they are HD10s is because one came with my BG1209 from Curt and CZ Eddie sold me the other set.
(translation: Curt and Eddie, if I find out you've sold me 10Ls I'm gonna be mad!!)

I don't know if there is any way to tell for sure but this may help. The radius of the curve of the first lense (the one that goes towards the C-element) is different for some of the lenses. The GT17 and the HD10L lenses have a very similar curve that protrudes much farther (smaller radius) than the straight HD10 and HD10F which have much less curve or a larger radius.
The attached picture is from a HD10F lens, the red line show approximatly where the lens of a GT17 or HD10L would be.
Chris.
