BIN ebay item 130158819407

Has anybody ever heard of these guys? I searched and came up with an old article dated to 2004 and alot of HTTP 404 pages trying to link to the manufacturer but not much else.

The thing looks, except for the front bezel, EXACTLY like the Focus CenterStage CS1, 2, and HD scaler/processors, right down to the connection layouts and label coloring on the back.
The one cool thing about the Maxx is it came stock with SDI. My CS2 has the SDI option slot but I can't find that card anywhere.

It doesn't do 1080p, only interlaced but it states the same capabilities as the CS line in that you can create and push custom resolutions into it via RS232.

I'm not seriously planning on picking it up but it got me wondering if anyone here knows who they are/were. I suspect that when Focus stopped making the CenterStage CS products they might have sold or licensed to someone else??
If it were dirt cheeeeeep I'd buy it to see if the SDI option card was compatible with my CS2.

Cheers.

Greg
