chapters in canada has the Complete Collection for 39.99 and the ultimate collection for 84.74 - and no distinction of SD or HD-DVD or BR versions of sets. sigh.
amazon.ca has the complete collection for 34.99 (in HD-DVD or BR) and the ultimate for 79.09 in HD-DVD with free luggage. and a release of Dec 18. that's 75 days campers.

Yep, and you have a five-star rating on something that hasn't even been sold yet. Wow, talk about predictive science. I mean, if its that good why is it $27.95 and not $77.95?
BTW, I placed an order with them at 6AM two days ago and they are saying it will ship sometime after 10/15 even though everything I picked was in stock (already in release). Two weeks to prep for shipment!?! Yeah, go Amazon.

Yeah, I don't get it. Why are they selling a 5-disk HD/BR set for what a 1/2 disk set usually sells for?
I don't even have a player yet and I'm tempted to buy a set just to make sure they don't jack it up to $80 after release. If I knew which format I was going to end up with, I would buy it. Guess it's a 50-50 shot, I could probably trade it if I ended up with the wrong one...

You know, they want to sell me this music CD but they do not have it in stock. Its not something new, and some of their competitors have it, but everyone that has it wants $8-15 more for it. It keeps reminding me why I rarely BUY music, and proprietors like Amazon only aggravates the buying experience that sets a context for the subject being bought.

Has anyone else got the 2 sequel books by K.W. Jeter?
They aren't very good, but in the books Deckard is human.
I have the Vangelis Soundtrack, the bodgy orchestral "soundtrack", the 2 sequel books, Future Noir book, Do Androids Dream book, Dir cut DVD, Theatrical VHS, and a 1080i TS file of the directors cut which is one of my most prized posessions.
And soon I will have the 5 disc version in HD-DVD/BR (not sure which yet).
