Masonic Hall, New Westminster BC.

$1500 electric screen.
$5 mount

the "mount" is a 12x12 piece of plywood that they have suspended from the ceiling by THIN wire. to hold up the Benq LCD projector. The plywood is at a 30 degree slope because even though this is a ceiling mount, they have the projector top side up, so the angle compensates for the PJ not being upside down. who knows what the keystoning is like.

at that angle, the PJ is likely to fall off. So they taped it on. with masking tape. brrrr.

it's been there for about two years, hasn't fallen yet. used early saturday mornings to watch live Rangers soccer from Europe.

Oh c'mon, it's obvous that a trained installer did that. He's a cook at McDonald's by day, Part time DJ and installer at night.

If you're ever at the Holiday Inn Metrotown, go into the pub there. They had a couple of digitals strapped to a plastic milk carton container with bungee cords. I really need to go back there to see if they still exist, and take some pix.

that's the funniest thing I've seen all week. If the masking tape dry's out and cracks, dropping the PJ to the ground, it would be a blessing. Laughing

Finally, a simple solution that really works! I gotta get me some of that tape, except I think I may have to double it, since I have a CRT. Razz

Guys, guys, guys... The masking tape was just used to hold everything until the Elmer's Glue could dry. Geez, don't you guys know anything.

Hey, at least the "installer" didn't have to concern himself with things like picture geometry or focus. Ignorance is bliss...

I also have for sale 129.95 plus S&H a special blend of glue that when used in conjunction with the aforementioned masking tape will significantly enhance pixel definition and increase black levels due to its vibration dampening and absorbing qualities. Unlike traditional glues this has been designed and produced solely for the digital home theater projector consumer to enhance their home theater experience. Our customer testimonials speak for themselves.

Joe says " I thought it was all hype until I tried the glue for myself. My viewing was dramatically improved. Even my friends couldn't believe the difference the simple addition of glue added to our home theater experience."

Tom says " I swear by this glue. I wish it would work on my old TV or computer, but they are CRT based."

Supplies are limited so get your pre order in today before its all gone!
Thumbs Up

I also have a special "BURN IN" dvd for you videoholics.
Very easy to use:

PUT IN DVD PLAYER
HIT "Play"
HIT "Repeat"

A special image will appear on your screen, if it looks like the word "SUCKER", don't worry you are just imagining it...

Play disk on your PJ for 4000 hours, your PJ will now be burnt in to provide amazing depth of field and spatial imaging, the undertones of pixalation will be removed and all holotelepathetic-extraliciousdocious ringing will be banished to the depths of hell...

No returns or liability accepted.

I forgot to add, with our high quality West Korean Mounting tapes, for best results place a strip of tape over your eyes and look through the gap at the bottom. This increases depth of field and enhances black level with digitals.

I'm willing to bet with the aformentioned glue fumes that this combination will give you the BEST experiance from your d!gital projector.

Yep tape is oxygen free untill peeled off the reel, then the oxidation begins. We recommend tape replacement every 300 hours or every digital projector whichever comes first.
