Some factors I am considering:

1 - Can BR and HD DVD be archived on a hard drive?
2 - Can the TIVO with cable card be expanded to an unlimited hard drive size?
2 - Can the TIVO upscale to 1080p?

It is nice to have multiple options again for both Cable and HD disks. They are both really only months/days old.

I can not decide if I hate the HTPC, which I did or if I loved the HTPC, which I did.

I know my wife was not a big fan of the HTPC......
